Doug Taylor artworks at Robinson Studio Gallery

We're excited to be showing Doug Taylor's sculpture alongside David's work here at Robinson Studio Gallery. Doug is an award-winning, Vancouver-based mixed media artist. He produces lively kinetic sculptures and public art installations that often include wind, water and solar powered features.

Signature works include Seattle Center's Bird Song Listening Station, and Whistler Mountain's Plaza of Champions. We hope you'll come by the gallery to view his works, which will be here through September.

We are pleased to announce that the latest issue of Image features the essay Levity and Gravity: The Sculpture of David Robinson by Curator and Author Gordon L. Fuglie.

David had the pleasure of reconnecting with Fuglie last summer, 10 years after their first meeting for A Broken Beauty, an exhibition curated by Fuglie for the Laguna Art Museum.

New Works at Robinson Studio Gallery

Robinson Studio Gallery, in cooperation with Melissa Morgan Fine Art, has just hosted a preview exhibition of David's new body of work. After a successful reception on November 12th the show remained open for the public during the Eastside Culture Crawl. Our staff here at the studio and gallery had a wonderful time sharing the work with all our visitors.

The exhibition will soon be traveling down to Palm Desert to be shown at Melissa Morgan Fine Art.

Building on the exploration of forms that resulted in David’s Homage Series, these new works are bold and unexpected manifestations of figuration, presented in a variety of materials and scales.
