This life-sized bronze figure amid toppling corten steel panels will navigate a 30 foot arc across the surface of a black stone reflecting pool.

Life in the Porcelain - An Exhibition of the work of Andy Blick coming to Robinson Studio Gallery

Thu, 2012-11-08

November 22 – December 12, 2012

One is so easily drawn in by the near gravitational pull of the works of Andy Blick.  His own matchless economy of line, form, and poise makes these signature pieces as unmistakable as they are compelling; when we look at the work of Andy Blick we encounter artefacts of authentic beauty and consequence.

I am deeply honored at the opportunity to exhibit Andy’s recent creations, believing as I do that they will recalibrate many assumptions about what stands for excellence in the field of contemporary ceramic art and design.
