New commission Critical Mass is underway

David’s latest work Critical Mass is being created at a monumental scale for installation in a private residence in Vancouver, BC.

This life-sized bronze figure amid toppling corten steel panels will navigate a 30 foot arc across the surface of a black stone reflecting pool.

Developed in collaboration with noted Landscape Architect Paul Sangha, the sculpture will stand as a dramatic centerpiece within the dynamic forms of the New Urban architecture.

The maquette of the work, which was popular with gallery visitors this fall, has been editioned in both bronze and sterling silver.
